Brack, who plans to return to the cockpit of his IndyCar in the near future, will add his final touches and autograph to the Brainstorm-designed guitar today at Brainstorm headquarters in Indianapolis. The 1999 Indy 500 champion has been selected to participate in a special GuitarMania® II, Encore that benefits the Greater Cleveland United Way and the Rock Hall’s education fund. In the past, artists have included celebrities like Peter Max, Joe Walsh, and Keith Richards. Sponsored by Anthem, the nation’s largest healthcare provider, Brainstorm, an Indianapolis-based branding and design firm, has designed the fiberglass replica of a Fender® Stratocaster® guitar. “It is a real honor to be selected as part of the display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame,” said Brack. “As an avid guitarist, I have visited the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame before and I’m very excited about having a guitar I have signed in the Hall. I want to thank Brainstorm and Anthem for their participation in the project. And I hope to be back on stage very soon with my band – Kenny Brack and the Subwoofers presented by Pioneer.” GuitarMania kicks-off live in a public display on Key Plaza at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland at 10:30 am on Friday, May 28, 2004. The guitars are scheduled to be on display around the city of Cleveland from May through October of this year. After the exhibit, guitars will be auctioned off to raise money for the Greater Cleveland United Way and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s education fund. Brainstorm’s design, entitled “Blue Rocks” is an engaging abstract interpretation of a seminal musical genre with a subtle nod to Anthem, their sponsor. “Through corporate sponsorships like Anthem’s, and a public auction held after the exhibit, the event raised over $1 million last year and we’re just glad to be a part of this worthy cause,” said Brainstorm founder Bob Blass.
