« Back Tuesday, April 06, 2004 Brack Back On Stage With His Guitar KENNY BRACK GOES BACK ON STAGE THIS WEEKEND WITH HUGE ROCK GROUP IN HIS SWEDISH HOMETOWN Team Rahal Driver Continues His Rehab With A Little Rock Guitar KARLSTAD, Sweden (April 6, 2004) – Team Rahal’s Kenny Brack is working on his mental rehabilitation as well as physical conditioning this week. And this Saturday night in his hometown of Karlstad, Sweden, Brack will have some musical excitement when he returns to the concert stage before more than 5,000 fans in the local ice hockey arena. Kenny will get a personal thrill when he plays his Gibson guitar along his music heroes in Sweden – Rock group SVEN INGVARS and singer CHRISTER SJOGREN. “It’s going to be fantastic to play guitar with the Sweden guys,” said Brack by phone from Sweden today. “Sven Ingvars started in the 1950s and were very big in Sweden and Europe and Christer played with ‘The Vikings’ for years too. They were some of my heroes in music when I was growing up. So it should pretty exciting before the big crowd at home. Plus I think I have improved on the guitar since playing back in Sweden last time. ” While Brack works a few “riffs” on his guitar, he continues his daily physical rehab schedule while in Europe in hopes of returning to his Team Rahal No. 15 Pioneer/Argent Mortgage Honda G-Force Indy car soon. “Yes, the rehab is coming along very well,” he said. “I feel better and better each day and I should know pretty soon if I can get back in a race car in the near future. That is my goal right now.” But before that Kenny will be fighting off the crowds as a rock musician this weekend. “It’s been a lot of fun here in Sweden,” Brack explains. “But there are a lot of media, actually too many at times. Now I know how some of the rock stars feel with the media and the crowds. But I’m looking forward to playing guitar this Saturday. It’s been a dream of mine to play with these guys and in my hometown.” Brack returns to North America on April 15.
