Brack Gets Plenty of Well Wishes

KENNY BRACK RECEIVES MANY WELL WISHES;
ANITA BRACK PLEASED WITH PARKLAND’S CARE

DALLAS, Texas.… The stream of well wishes for injured driver Kenny Brack has been amazing says his wife Anita Thursday from Parkland Memorial Hospital.

Brack remains in serious, but stable condition.

He is currently in the intensive car unit as he recovers from Sunday’s violent IRL IndyCar Series crash that left him with various injuries including a fractured right femur, a fractured sternum and lumbar vertebrae and fractures to both ankles. Brack had surgery on Sunday and Monday nights to repair the damage.

”We have received so many letters, cards, e-mail, faxes and calls from so many people,” said Anita Brack. “It has made everyone here in Dallas and at Team Rahal feel very good. There have been thousands of e-mails to Kenny’s website and Team Rahal’s website. We want to thank everyone for their support and kindness. The Lord has been with Kenny and us too. He has improved every day.”

The variety of well-wishers has included Carl Gustaf, the King of Sweden,; Brack’s co-owner David Letterman (who gave an emotional speech on Brack on his television show Monday night); IRL CEO Tony George; current Indy 500 winner Gil de Ferran; former Indy 500 champion Buddy Lazier and his wife Kira; NASCAR driver Jerry Nadeau (who raced against Brack in the Barber Saab series in 1993); Brack’s former car owner Chip Ganassi and Brack’s former Team Rahal teammate Max Papis, who gave Kenny a funny message.

“Hey Kenny, we didn’t know you could fly without a pilot’s license,” said Papis. “We wish you our love and get well soon.”

Anita Brack has been strengthened by support of the staff of Parkland Hospital.

“The doctors, nurses and staff at Parkland have been fantastic,” said Anita. “They have been incredible to Kenny, myself and our Team Rahal family. I can’t say enough about them. I am so thankful that we were able to bring Kenny to Parkland for his injuries. We appreciate all of the hospital’s help this week.”

Further updates on Brack’s conditions will be released in the near future.
