The band, comprised of Kenny on lead and rythm guitar, Gene Deer on rythm and lead guitar, Kelsey Smith on vocals, Smokin' David Lyle Wyatt on bass, Kathy Prather on vocals, Laz Denes on acoustic guitar and Charlie Bushor on drums, is geared up for the 2003 rock-and-roll racing season. As an accomplished blues guitarist, Kenny often brings his guitar with him to the races. But it took a trip to the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles to discover that several of his fellow race car drivers also are musicians. We all know, when young racecar drivers go to the Playboy Mansion, their minds turn to thoughts of ... music. A group of drivers who attended the event in L.A., including Cristiano da Matta, Bryan Herta and Patrick Carpentier, joined Kenny for gigs in several cities where they were racing. At the California Speedway, Michael Anthony of Van Halen also joined the drivers onstage. Kenny proved that he could excite the audience as much with his music as with his hard-hitting driving. When Kenny rejoined Team Rahal for the 2003 IRL season,
he decided to formalize the Kenny Brack Band with the support of team
sponsor Pioneer Electronics. Kenny found tremendous musical talent within
open-wheel racing and recruited a dynamic group to form Kenny Brack and
the Subwoofers. Favorite Tunes for Jammin' at Home or on the Road
